AFC Mentorship Program:
The African Feminist Collective Mentorship Programme is an 8-month initiative connecting
African feminists across generations and experiences. Through one-on-one mentorship, group
sister circles, and collaborative projects, the programme creates spaces for learning, reflection,
and collective growth. Participants explore feminist identity, leadership, activism, and movement
building while building lasting networks, sharing knowledge, and taking action together. The
programme culminates in a collective celebration, project showcase, and integration into the
AFC alumni community.

Sister Circles
Our Sister Circles are dedicated spaces where African feminists come together to engage
deeply with key advocacy areas, including economic justice, fundraising, health and
reproductive rights, legal and policy advocacy, and digital rights. Each circle focuses on a
specific theme, creating room for learning, collaboration, and action.
By joining a Sister Circle, members become part of a community committed to advancing
African feminist thought and practice. It is a space to share knowledge, build collective power,
and contribute meaningfully to our shared vision of liberation and transformation.
Our different circles:
1. Economic Justice and Rights Circle: Explores and advances strategies for economic
empowerment, equity, and financial justice for African women.
2. Fundraising and Grants Circle: Builds skills and shares opportunities around resource
mobilization, grant writing, and sustainable funding for feminist work.
3. Health and Reproductive Rights Circle: Advocates for bodily autonomy and equitable
access to health and reproductive rights across African contexts.
4. Legal and Policy Advocacy Circle: Engages in shaping, analyzing, and influencing
laws and policies that impact gender justice.
5. Technology and Digital Rights Circle: Examines the intersection of feminism and
technology, advancing digital inclusion, safety, and rights.
