Membership of the African Feminist Collective (AFC) is free and open to African feminists
across the continent and diaspora who align with our vision, mission, and values. We welcome
women, girls, and intersex people, as well as individuals whose experiences and identities align
with and are impacted by our work, to join our community.
At AFC, membership is about more than signing up, it is about becoming part of a vibrant,
intersectional feminist community committed to collective liberation, care, and transformation.
We value the diversity of our members’ experiences and perspectives, and we are intentional
about creating spaces that are inclusive, respectful, and grounded in shared values.
As a community, we do not expect uniformity of thought, but we do expect members to engage
with integrity and uphold spaces that are free from discrimination, including racism,
homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, and all forms of exclusion or harm.
